Ivory Coast? That's a new one. I generally get the same sort but from Nigeria. Asking for my bank account number so they can transfer the funds in.

Me too. There was a segment on The View a couple of weeks ago about these e-mails and how people who had hundreds of thousands in their account were asked to fly to Nigeria, where they were kidnapped.

There have to be SOME idiots out there, or sending these e-mails would be a waste of time and no one would do it.


It is quite mind-boggling though, isn't it? That someone would be like, "WOW! What a GREAT idea?"

Remember that woman several years ago who started a website for people to donate money because she got herself so severely into credit card debt? And it worked! Sure, she didn't give them some third-world spiel or kidnap them, but the point is - ASWADBEM (a sucker with a dollar born every minute!).
