Obama has really not been stepping up to all these upheavals globally. His foreign policy attitude has been horrible. Total fail. Hillary will be different.

It doesn't matter who is American president. The people in the Middle East are entirely capable of having a nuclear war without any help or hindrance from us.

Now, a Hamas member has been shot and killed in the act of throwing a grenade, and a Palestinian teenager has been kidnapped and his body found in a forest near Jerusalem.

The cycle of retaliation can be stopped only by a miracle, not by a president.

Unless, of course, that President is touted as our nation's next savior and a miracle worker for the country. Not that anyone even suggested as much in 2008. Oh, wait...

Regardless of anything else that's going on, we must always be doing everything we possibly can to both protect and support Israel. Certain politicians and leaders have distanced themselves from Israel over the last several years. To me, that is both inexcusable and despicable.

And PJ, before you say anything... Shut up. I do not care what you have to say. Put me on your massive Ignore list and bite me.

Perhaps the father of the slain Palestinian teen says it the best:

"I am against kidnapping and killing,” he said. “Whether Jew or Arab, who would accept that his son or daughter would be kidnapped and killed? I call on both sides to stop the bloodshed.”

Attending a memorial service tonight.
Truly awful. My brother is going to school in Israel next year and is around the same age. Lots of things being put into perspective because of that. Baruch dayan emet.

It is equally as horrible if the Palestinian teen was killed for revenge and I'm glad to hear so many say that publicly!

I've also heard rumors that it may have been a mercy killing carried out by his family to falsely shed a bad light on the Israelis.

Bottom line is don't be quick to come to any conclusions. There are crazy people on both sides.
