Good news for the huge demographic that makes up the combination Stooge/Carrey fans, I guess. As for me, I'm just happy they made it ridiculously easy for me to avoid. Unlike other films, which may have an element or two that could cause some indecision about taking a gamble to see it, this film is a no-brainer. Sort of like that film treatment of The Honeymooners.

While this movie could be potentially terrible -- particularly because I HATE adult heads on babies, like those disturbing New York lotto commercials -- I really don't see how recreating eyepokes and bops in the head is desecrating some sort of sacrosanct comedy routine. I mean, if the stooges survived being turned into bionic superheroes by Hanna-Barbera (yes, they really did this), I think they'll survive this.

As a side note, I'm kinda bummed that "I Love You Philip Morris" seems destined for the straight-to-DVD route. I enjoyed the book and thought it would be a nice non-schmaltzy change-up for Carrey.
