So here's my question....this happens to alot of people i know, but when I wake up, in the morning (or afternoon....) I find my voice is all cracky and mucous-y (ugh that's disgusting) any advice?
I try halls and the like, but it dosn't really help much....

I've heard that halls are bad for your voice... don't quote me on that, though.
I've found that green tea can cure any voice thing... as far as I'm concerned.

Green Tea is LOADED with caffiene, however. Maybe certain people just have that problem in the morning? I suffer from the same problem. I just can't sing in the morning unless I warm up. I'm usually good to go by the afternoon though.

Reflux esophigitis is different from heartburn...so you may not know you have it, and it usually forms that mucous that gets in the way of your voice, and you may feel a slight burn in your throat.
