Sorry, to hear that M.M., but let's not forget that when you WERE ticking you produced that magnificent Larry Hagman! re: Tick-Tock...

the only one whose time i maintain is my cellie. i have an alarm clock which i use only rarely; i somehow wake up each morning about when i need to. The puter has its own internal clock, i suppose. But i don't have to maintain it. My new cellie does not automatically adjust from a satellite, dang it, which is inconvenient when the seasons change and i travel.

There is also a digital in my pick-em-up truck which is set ahead to try and make me on time instead of late to things. But i've gotten lazy about resetting it with seasonal hourly adjustments...a nice conversation starter with passengers (half the year).

Anyone know someone obsessed with keeping all clocks precisely together, and resetting everything when the power blinks?!?!? it's kind of hot, but can also be kind of annoying. That personality trait, i mean...

Just in my kitchen: wall clock, microwave, coffee maker, stove

LR: VCR

Room: computer, vcr, 2 clock radios

Other: cell phone, PDA, 3 watches

Yeah, I'm time obsessed.

people give me hell about not changing clocks for time zone and seasonal adjustments, but i reply that it helps me practice my simple math skills.

My mother always sets her clocks weird times ahead, like 37 minutes, to keep her brain sharp. Clearly, it's not working.

Ooh I set mine ahead to fool m myself too, so I"m not late for work. But I always figure out that I'm lying. Maybe that whole obscure time thing is the clincher, I need to try that.

Yeppers, Gotham.

Not only that, but when I opened up a Savings Account, I got a "Automobile Rescue Kit". Has everything you need to start a car that's immobile.

(Unfortunately, in my case, it comes without a Mechanic.)
