Definitely not dying or eaten (though I ate far too much yesterday). I just had a late night (er, early morning) and naturally this thread is nothing without me. How goes it in Halifax this morning? (Er, afternoon.--Funny how that works.)

For the record, I haven't kept it a secret that I'm no Jose' fan, nor do I support his motivations, but I'm definitely not the one pushing his limits and patience as much as a few other posters around here. Geez, whatdya guys make me for? (And who the hell is this rapscallion Rask to pass judgment on me anyway? Who are you and what do you have to do with Nikki?)

Nik, how'd the audition go and what was it for and why were you with Austin Pendleton? How come I'm totally out of the loop here?

Oh and you know I'm totally all over stalking U2. But it's not "stalking" if I'm not actually *following* them, just walking all around downtown Vancouver until I find them, right? That's normal, right? Normal? Yeah? I'm certainly gonna tap that, and I go to the courts on a weekly basis and pass by GM Place, so...a little detour never killed anyone.

Clipping toenails or fingernails today? Do you guys clip right down to the nub of your finger or do you feel a little bit of nail on the end? I trained in piano for years so it's habit to clip down to the nub and now I find my fingers are nice and slim, but kind of nubby. (Rockclimbing chalk does wonders for cuticles too. )

What's wrong with peeled grapes? You know what's even better? Frozen red grapes. Oooohhhh yeeeeaaah.

re: fingernail clipping. I leave a bit. It hurt to nub them down, doesn't it? I cut them shorter last time, because I found it hard to hold down the strings of the guitar, though.

Mmmm, frozen fruit of any kind rocks. Except apples. Blech!

Allie, I try to watch the whole thing because Oscar Day is seriously one of my favorite times of year, but this year I haven't seen most of the films and (fortunately?) the mainstream films that normally would be recognized are now on the back burner and smaller films are getting recognition - which is great for them, but harder to access or hear much about.

I haven't seen ANY of the movies nominated for Best Picture! I'm watching though! I'm still kind of sore about the whole "Let's let Beyonce sing a bunch of songs that belong to other people" thing, but I'll live (maybe).
