SQUEE!! Local news segment just said that the reason U2's going to Ottawa is because Paul Martin (that's the Canadian Prime Minister in case you didn't know; a Prime Minister is like the Canadian equivalent of the American President, just...smarter) personally made a phone call to Bono asking him to do the concert so he can go! Apparently they've been on a first name basis since Bono convinced Paul to cut down on third-world debts!
