ok, so re: the whole piercing thing:
i have my tongue pierced. it wasn't bad to get AT ALL. didn't hurt one bit. and it only took a month to heal, and I can take it out constantly without it closing.
and if you're worried about chipping your teeth (which is super rare), get plastic balls.

no big deal, I'm not paranoid.. If it really mattered to me then I would actually truely censor myself, but since I tend to just say 90% of whatever crosses my mind I'm over it. no pic yet. just did it last night. made my roomies crazy in the process... i'll try to talk them into getting a pic with the digital camera... we'll see. if you like the pink, it's all good then. i like the red, not the pink. and cam, just go get your tongue pierced already. be spontaneous. don't think about it. just go do it after work. it's more fun that way. sitting and thinking about it takes away the fun.

I did my belly button on my lunch break one day.. out of the blue.. I just said screw it and took off..
then the tat well I wasn't actually considering it, but I had my friend draw it for me anyway.. Then I got a huge rush of adrenaline one day and decided to do it.. got it for a steal too..
