You KNOW of them?? I thought they were just some nobody garage grunge band (this being Seattle and all). But yes, not only did I meet them, I sat with them for the duration of the trip and we talked about U2, life, travelling and music. I didn't even know they were a country group until I Googled them. Probably a good thing too, because at some point, I probably would've made an untimely snark about the crappiness of country music.
One word with a slap of hypocrisy:

Of course I know of them! They're a great band. "I Should Be Sleeping", "If You Were My Girl", "Fall Into Me"...
Tiff I hope hell itself opens up and swallows you!! and I hope you NEVER have an O!!
Allie, dear how are you? I've missed you terribly.
They were VERY nice. Probably not selling enough records though, if they're riding the shuttle with me instead of flying!
I gotta tell ya, I'm not actually all that motivated to have an O. (Let's call it, for the sake of thread preservation, an Oprah.) I haven't actively been pursuing an Oprah, and have enjoyed myself immensely without her.

I am so sick. It's been days, and I still feel like hell.
It's a little better today than it has been, which could be because I didn't get up until after 1:00 this afternoon.
What's the sickness?
Are you sure it wasn't just cosmic intervention so that they could meet the great and wonderful Tiff?
**chokes**
They wouldn't have gotten any U2 concert b**ts if not for me. So yes, they do think I'm great and wonderful.
And I think they're some...country singers. *stifles laugh* Oh dear.

My mom thinks it's the flu. I haven't had any nausea, but basically everything else! Sore throat, cough, sore muscles, headache, the works.
You're in Canada! Land of the free, the cold, and the ample supply of flu shots!

I am so regretting not getting a flu shot.
No kidding! I got mine done in November. Then again, I'm so susceptible to getting colds and any other form of sinus congestion, and it doesn't really matter. But at least I don't have a fever. I HATE having fevers.
How's school going? What did you end up studying?

School... is not. I'll tell you some other time, k?
Fiiiiine.
Mmm...I've got half a mind to take a nap before the "show". Who's going to be online then?
Work is crazy - arrrgh!
Still with that bastard contract?
allie that almost sounds like what i had and they told me it was mono... after doing the mono test of course.
No, other stuff that has come up - and then I have a conference call from 6:30 to 8:00 tonight.
Bleeech.
And, no word on the other two things at all!

Oh God, that's all I need... mono. My friend is just getting over mono.
It wouldn't surprise me if I got it from her. We were sharing drinks on New Year's Eve, and the next week she was sick.
You got m*n*??? You weren't sucking face with Middy recently, were you?
Was your friend diagnosed with m*n*?
Where's Fat Fat Fat today?
Broadway Legend Joined: 11/2/04
Yeah, she was diagnosed with it.
I'm calling for a doctor's appointment very shortly. I definitely have symptoms.
No, I was not sucking face with anyone, let alone someone I've never met.
It must've been the drink sharing that did you in. I can't believe how contagious it is!
What ARE your symptoms? is anything inflammed? How long has it been going on for?
M*n* is extremely contagious. And it's really doing the rounds... lots of people seem to have it right now.
