I am finally home and done for the week.

Swapped wine for gin, and am feeling nooooo pain. Hopefully the same will be true tomorrow morning.

Ugh, we filmed until 4amPST today. Fun shoot though - this haunted mental hospital scares the crap out of me - I've filmed there a few times before and someone from the crew always swears they, or someone they knew, have seen ghosts there. I used to not believe in that until I worked there one time - it was stiflingly hot on one of the upper floors (it was built in 1911, abandoned and no more electricity), and I was walking down a hallway in the middle of the night with only the moon and streetlights to guide me, and I walked past this one room and it was FREEZING cold. I got freaked out, speed-walked to the end of the hallway, then crept back to that room. And it was hot again. There's all these stories of DOPs seeing a little girl looking out a window on the second floor, and an infamous story of a film crew whose camera actually caught a little orb of light moving down a tunnel while they were shooting a take.

The best part last night was when we wrapped in a different building there that has electricity, and a producer, Katie Cassidy (David's daughter - the star) and I were going down the elevator. And she's notorious for being a dumb blonde with a sweet disposition. And suddenly the elevator dropped two floors and made a hard stop (not a crash) - we couldn't get the door open, and Katie was just cracking her sh!t up, saying she was terrified we'd fall. And I'm joking, "Don't worry, if we do, it's only one more storey. But it looks like we're stuck so someone will just pry the door open." And then it dropped that last storey and landed with a bang and we were stuck in there for a few minutes. Funniest damn thing I've seen.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm in a mood of total self-discovery (or something like it) - I've decided that one of my biggest flaws is that I put up with too much sh!t from people. It's the Libra curse - even though I'm a good debater and always fair, I hate confrontation and discord, and tend to bottle things up instead of letting people know how I feel. I think I'm at that boiling point. I get walked on far too much.

Day's going alright. I've got a morning call time tomorrow so I should just R&R today. My spine hurts a bit - I'm wondering if it's from that elevator incident. Hopefully nothing too eventful will happen tomorrow.

I've been sweetly courted by my boss on set - so sweet, in fact, that I think he MUST be pulling my leg. Either that, or he's got it bad and I haven't had to try, which makes me think he's just going for me because he thinks I'm easy.

He asked me to be his Valentine when I got on set today, and bought me a rose and baby's breathe. I don't know what to think. Oh, he's twelve years my senior. And a former cocaine user who now only "dabbles" in weed. But he doesn't smoke. (Er, good?) Is this baggage I don't need? Did I mention he drives a BMW?

Oh, and Lacey injured her leg badly and might need to get surgery. What a trooper, she finished the stunt and then hobbled outta there. So yay, early wrap tonight! (Am I going to h-e-double-hockey-sticks?)

Did everyone survive singles awareness day?? I was on munchkin duty so my dad and step mom could go out to dinner. My 7yr old bro was really well behaved while they were gone but turned into a monster when they got home.. the baby was just a sweet heart and fell asleep withing 10 minutes of them leaving. she's so cute..
