Like, last week, and I was so confused that I just stopped.
Okay, Shawn and Mimi are together? Since when??? Are we not supposed to be Shawn and belle shippers anymore? (Then again, after Kirsten Storms left, I don't think any of the replacement Belles have had the same chemistry with Jason Cook.)

Shawn and Mimi have been together for awhile, but I can't see it lasting much longer. Belle's still in love with Shawn, but married to Phillip. They have a baby, who almost died. But Shawn was a match when she needed blood, and Shawn's brother gave her some organ after he died. The baby is actually Shawn's, and Mimi, Bonnie (Mimi's mother), and Kate (Phillip's mother) are the only ones who know. Both mothers are trying to get Mimi and Shawn married ASAP, for their own personal gain, of course. Mimi keeps trying to tell Shawn, Belle, and Phillip about the baby, but I don't think she has yet.
Cassie never came back from that island thing... remember when everybody died, but didn't really die? Yeah. Rex... just took off, I think. Mimi had an abortion.
Jack's dying, if not already dead. There was a whole assisted suicide storyline with him at one point. Actually, I think he's dead, because Jen's with some other guy.
Hope is BEYOND pissed. I don't think she and Bo are together at this point. Chelsea was introduced quite awhile ago. First as Jen's daughter's friend, then they found out that she was really Bo and Billie's daughter. Hope doesn't like Billie so much, for obvious reasons, and therefore doesn't like Chelsea. And then Bo let Chelsea take his car, and she accidentally killed Zach and left him there on the side of the road. Billie tried to take the wrap for it, with Bo's help to keep it a secret, but it all got out. Enter Hope, screaming mad and very dramatic: "ZACH ZACH MY BABY MY BABY!" The last time I saw Bo, he was hammered, and wandering around, scruffy, in an alley, punching dumpsters and walls. Then Billie came to his rescue.
Marlena has amnesia (again?), and John is all super-dramatic (heeee), trying to protect her from her "husband" who is really out to kill her. Good old-fashioned DOOL.
Austin came back and set up business with Sami and Nicole. The three of them were working together, and Austin decided to do this crazy hostile take-over thing. Sami found out that the CEO was actually Carrie, but didn't tell Austin. So Carrie was super pissed about that. I saw a bit today. Sami and Austin had sex, and Lucas and Carrie made out on a couch.
I only watched DOOL while I was on extended sick leave 10 years ago. I didn't watch for about 5 years, caught it one day, and it was like I'd only missed a week.
But still...
