Sources are saying that Tim Allen is likely to return to television in 2011. There's a even a chance he may be replacing Steve Carell as the boss on "The Office." It will be weird watching "The Office" without Steve Carell, but I think Tim is a terrific actor and he could definetley fill in Steve's shoes. What do you all think?

Nooooooo! I think that is a horrible choice!
I think it will be very hard to get the right person to be as annoying/endearing as Carell.

I only liked The Santa Clauses 1&2. The first because it was cute and the second because I wanted to bone Elizabeth Mitchell. Well, not technically bone, but youknowwhatimean.

And Jordan's Lisa Kudrow idea is actually the best replacement I've heard of. That would make me much more excited for the season after this one.

Wow, the Lisa Kudrow idea is beyond perfect.
As for Allen - he's basically as good as the material he has, in my experience. Or maybe I'm very forgiving because of Buzz Lightyear and his turn in Galaxy Quest.

I can't think of anything good he has done since like 1995 or whatever.
Aside from a little character named Buzz Lightyear (as was previously mentioned), I thought he was excellent in the first The Santa Clause (the two sequels were rubbish). Beyond that, it's slim pickings...

Last I read was that Tim was not joining the office but is in the market for the "right" vehicle that would bring him back to television.
I liked S3 but mostly because I've always had kind of a soft spot for Martin Short.
