To My Broadwayworld Family--other msg didn't appear

Bobo, our precious four year old baby puppy died on Sunday--Mother's Day, hours after we received word that Brett's(my other half) mother had died. Bo died during surgery. He had specialists working on him to save his life, that we had contacted from our surrounding cities.

Bobo was brought to me in the hospital about four years ago, the day after my baby golden retriever, Maxwell died when we were both attacked in the infamous pitbull attack.
I will treasure forever the moments we had with Bo. He brought the greatest joy to my life, and helped save my life in my recovery from the pitbull attack. I loved him so very much. Bobo died just hours after we received word that Brett's mother died. Sunday was a day full of heartache and I just wanted wanted to share the news with some friends and loved ones. My angel baby boy has died...and I just needed to let my friends here know. I really don't know what to do, but I wish I could give my life to bring him back even for a little while. He was only four. Bobo is survived by me and Brett and Bo's sisters Mabel and Casey, as well as his favorite squeaky rubber steak toy, his special pillow that I put under his head when he slept next to me and the special spots in our front and back yards that he loved. I took the remaining water from his favorite water bowl and poured it over my hands onto his favorite tree. Thanks sweet people for reading this and the warmth and love and friendship so many of you have shown me during Bo's brief time of illness before his tragically young death.

As a dog owner for whom his dog is so much more than a pet, I really feel for your loss.

Wish - we don't know each other, but I am very sorry for your loss. I lost one of my dogs about six weeks ago. She was only 8. I completely understand what you're going through. It's extremely difficult, but it does get easier. Hang in there.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

I am so sorry sweetie *hugs* My thoughts go out to you and to Brett. It may be hard, but go get another puppy, it will help you heal, I speak from experience. Lots of love

Mt sympathies are with you. In March, my sister's beloved Skutch, made his last trip to the vet. He was 14 years old and his health had deteriorated greatly. Without a doubt, he was my best friend--a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who had saved the house from burning down several years ago and who loved to play tricks on his favorite uncle by stealing the remote control and changing the TV station. This coming Christmas will be bleak at our church because Skutch and his sister always joined me in the choir loft during the Vigil mass. Everyone in the parish looked forward to seeing them come down the steps after mass, wearing their red and green bows.

All of us miss him greatly.

I know what you're going through.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope it is all true ( you have lied so many times you know...like boy that cried wolf...). But in any event.. so sorry. Hope better days are ahead.

Well, honestly, I have had pets that I cared more about that certain relatives, but I would sooner die than admit it in print.

re: To My Broadwayworld Family--other msg didn't appear

You people are so mean. Here, IWishIHadATony, whose very screen name implies that he loves attention, has reached out to you, his FAMILY! Just because you probably have never met him doesn’t mean that he is not some long lost relative. ILoveAwardsShoweredOnMe admits that he is more upset that a dog he loved died than the Mother of the one he is committed to. That takes balls. Maybe the woman was a total witch. Maybe she did not approve of her son being gay or approve of his choice of partners, maybe she had been sick for a very long time and in a great deal of pain so the fact that she died on Mother’s Day was a blessing. Or perhaps he knows that there are so many dog lovers out there, one of whom is a TONY WINNER!!! (Woo! Woo!), and he was simply looking for some comfort from a famous person to make him feel better, and that this may be the best way to receive it. So before you cast stones, consider all the sides of this story. And when he finally gets his TONY and thanks his “Family” for support, you can turn to the person next to you and tell them, “Hey, HE just thanked ME!”
PEACE.

" Nothing's worse than loosing your best friend."

Oh I don't know. How about the loss of someone's mother?

Yet I get deleted. I said I was a fricken dog lover!

I still think someone seems more concerned about Bobo's departure than his partner's mom.

I'm so very sorry. re: To My Broadwayworld Family--other msg didn't appear When I deliberately ran over my father I had no idea that he was holding my kitty, Vlad. As you can imagine, father's day is very difficult for me if I happen to see any orange tabbies.

Ahhh, Namo, would you feel better if I sent you a Garfield card on Father's Day? And were you ever able to get that dent out of your bumper?
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.
