To call or not to call?
#25re: To call or not to call?
Posted: 10/15/04 at 4:20pmno no no. Even if he has caller ID if you call back before he gets another call, the new call will override the old one. HURRY.

Depends on the type of caller ID. Otherwise it might look worse if he flips through and sees your number on the screen like 20 times in a row.
Girl, that's YOU in the photo? Jesus, if you look like that, then what are you doing spending so much time on this board? I thought it was just for ugly people with good personalities!

...can't beleive I got sucked into this one...dear...do follow Matt _G's advice. Be cool, Be busy, Be pleasant but do NOT leave another voice mail.... just wait a few days a make a fresh call. Pray he doesn't have caller ID...If he sees your ID and no msg. he'll figure out your game.
Just relax..breathe and give a fresh and breezy call in a few days....If this doesn't work, pm me.
I may be an old hen...but I've had a LOT of practice as a young chick!

Posted: 10/15/04 at 4:27pmNo, I would call back now. That way if it does show up twice and he ever questions it she can say something like she got another call just as the machine picked up and she had to switch over.

Posted: 10/15/04 at 4:28pmI agree with Matt. Better at least doing it on the same day. Wait too long and he knows you chickened out.

The latter is much more accurate, TAT. I'm so frightened to call, I'm really never this nervous about anything. But, I dont know whether or not I should tell him I'll be in town, or just say "hey".
I give up on love.

I give up on heterosexual love.
Wanna be lesbian partners? The other thread says it's not a choice, but they haven't had my lurid dating history.

No...I'm a total wuss.
And also, I had to go to rehersal.
But, I'm going to possibly try him tommorow...
although he does have two shows.
I'm going to formulate exactly what to say, and then call again.
Hopefully!

WELL!
I called a second time!
This time, I left a "cool, calm, and collected" message.
Now, the trouble is...waiting!

GLORY BE AND THE SAINTS BE PRAISED!
After rehersal, I saw that I had a new voice message!
From- You know who!
BLESS THIS DAY!
I should've taken all of your advice from the start!
The message was definately the way to go.
I (really) couldn't be happier!
Oh boy!
I'm giddy!
haha!

It still seems to me like such a pretty girl shouldn't have worried so much. I'm glad you're happy, though.
