So, I'm going back to the city in November, and I want to see this guy that I went out with a few times over the summer, but I'm afraid to call. We havent kept in touch very well, and I left a message like a month ago and got no reply. He IS really busy, but I'm not sure what to do. Any thoughts?

Absolutely. Just call him and say that you've been very busy and you're sorry you haven't had a chance to talk to him in a while. But now things have calmed down and you'd like to get together when you're in town.

"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

I agree with Matt_G (for once)

Besides, any guy that intentionally doesn't return a call to you is nuts.

If I may add my two cents, I'd say call again. It can never hurt!

Call him, but like I said make it seem like you were the one that's been too busy to call him.

I hope this isn't one of those guys that all the hot girls fawn over. If he is, then to hell with him.

watchME, get yourself a nerd. Once you've gone nerd, you'll never return.

Totally. And do NOT ask him if he got your other message, otherwise he'll know you noticed that he never got back to you.

You guys are SO good at this.
Okay, I'm trying to formulate a rough draft from your advice for the call. Last time I called, I didn't think about what I was going to say, and ended up making a reference to his..ahem...manhood.
But, it really was an accident...I wonder if thats why he hasn't called! Updated On: 10/15/04 at 01:37 PM

If you made a reference to his cock, and he didn't think it was hot, he's a fool.

you need Karen Walker to dial for you and coach you through it...

Assuming he doesn't have caller ID.

no no no. Even if he has caller ID if you call back before he gets another call, the new call will override the old one. HURRY.
