Here's a French website with scenes from Brokeback Mountain, for those who've seen the movie and want to relive some of the moments, and for those who are starving for a glimpse of the film before it reaches their town. Be careful of spoilers, though.

Just click on the picture and then on the media player you want to use. The first two are trailers, the other six are scenes from the film.

They are in English, with French subtitles.

Yes, but the "h" in "hoo" is silent. So it comes out "ooh ooh!"

Damn, I knew they'd cut scene 3 right where they did! Oh, well, best not to spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie yet.

Damn that cut!

Is anyone else having trouble getting them to play with Windows Media? It says "done" but nothing comes up at all.

You have to wait a bit for the clip to start, and how long would depend on the speed of your connection. There's no way of knowing if anything is happening, the clips just suddenly start. At least they did for me. Hope that helps.

Windy - at my favorite bars named Charlie's (in Denver and Phoenix that I used to go to) two-stepping NEVER stopped! They even have a special huge tent set up at the WeHo gay pride event for country dancing - and it's VERY popular.
