well tomorrow my scool is giong to six flags St.Louis for a choir contest and were singing:
1.For the Buety of the Earth
2.Ching-a-Ring Chaw *shudders with fear*
3.Standing in the Light of Love
we have to go extremely high in Ching-A-Ring Chaw...like a C or somthing and im only in middle school....but anywhos I am a mezzo soprano and like ill b on here till at least 10:30 looking for help on should I drop out(Im one of the stronger voices)or try to best of my ability to sing it?

Definatly sing. You might regret dropping out later. Batman isn't too scary. You'll survive.
and wow blast from the past...I sang For the Beauty of the Earth in my Church Chior like 5 years ago. I completely forgot about that song.

Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

Posted: 5/11/06 at 1:07pmDon't drop out! You said that you were one of the stronger voices, I say go for it. You have other singers with you right? Then you should have nothing to worry about, just sing it with the best of your ability. Plus those choir comps are really fun! Actually my select chorus had one in Six Flags, only I think the one that we were at was called Great America. They had a Batman coaster and it was sooo much fun, just be prepared to go upside down.
Might I offer one last word. Some advice I wish I heard. If spending makes you feel alive. DIE before the bills arrive!!

Sing it. If you don't, you'll be letting down the whole choir.
Batman isn't that scary, I hate roller coasters and I went on this 5 times I loved it so much. (Assuming we're talking about the MA Batman).
