And it just makes sense because I'm from Ohio, but now I go to school in NYC so I only spend my summers in Ohio. I was bored in Ohio when my friend convinced me to sign up, too.
The Witches of Eastwick of course!! I would love to be in that chorus because everyone plays just one character all through the show and you can develop your own character . . .
Sorry to hijack for a moment, but this is for the Eastwickian:
I was lucky enough to do WITCHES with the original production team, and we spent the first two weeks of rehearsal just creating the townspeople through (*swallowing hard*) improvisations. We had to know where everyone lived, who their friends and enemies were, we even had to create and perform a series of TV commercials promoting each character's place of business. It was extraordinarily detailed preparation considering some of the ensemble didn't have as much as a single line of dialogue.
I saw the TV documentary that aired when Witches opened and I remember the creative had made a map of where everyone lived and how they interacted with each other in normal life, not mention their individual characteristcs (obsession with cats etc) - it look very thorough, and I have to say that that really came across on stage (for me anyway!). Obviously the great Julia Sutton stole the show most of the time, but many congrats to the whole of the ensemble for creating such a wonderfully weird town!
