So, so many of us have usernames about different shows, etc.
Why not say which show and why you chose it or why the certain number, etc.
BSoBW (Bram Stoker on Broadway
The "2" was a glitch (I signed up as BSoBW and couldn't log in)
Post yours here, I know there are a lot of you!
When I made my username I had no idea how to be creative.
I was listening to The Civil War.
The song "By the Sword/Sons of Dixie" was on.
I live in New York, and the by the sword part of the song is sung by the Northerners.
So that is what show my username comes from. The 84 is just my birth year.
Why, Sunday in the Park with George, of course!
Cabaret....
If I were a male who could act, Emcee would without a doubt be my dream role. But since I can't and he's not, I picked the reference because I registered shortly after I'd fallen for the show, and the Emcee was easily my favourite part; he's intriguing and mysterious, and there's a lot you can learn just looking at that one singular aspect of the show. Plus, there's an homage to Adam in there, too.
Sword, I'm coming back as SonsOfDixie75. We'll duke it out. It'll be fun. :)

Yeah, I wanna be the Emcee, too!
Does that make you a Wildhorn fan, bythe?

I'm the star of my own musical, thankyouverymuch. Taking place in Los Angeles. The 467 is my house number. My brother decided that would be the end of all my "handles" when I was 8 or something. And it stuck.
Singer, somehow I thought you'd come back with that as a response if anyone. I'd be more than happy to duke it out with you anytime- it'd be pure entertainment for everyone else. It's a North/South riot, with both parties living in the North.
BSoBW2, yes I do have a weakness for Wildhorn although really my love of his shows is mostly for The Scarlet Pimpernel, which I adore. Well, I should clarify that I adore the first version of it, and thought the second one was good but not as good. I didn't see the third version. I like a lot of the music to Civil War, but never saw the show. I liked Jekyll and Hyde but liked the music to Civil War better. I thought the music for dracula was subjected to horrible lyrics, even though the music itself is perfect for the mood of it.
Edit: Emcee, if it didn't have a homage to Adam in it I'd demand you changed it right now.

YEs, the more and more I listen to Dracula, the more and more I like the music...the lyrics are growing on me..
I really want to hear Civil War...and now that I have finally seen a Wildhorn show, they never air the Jekyll and Hyde thing on TV...
I do think my head would not be properly attached to my head if anything whatsoever that I did lacked an Adam reference. You'd have to have me check out, that's for sure.
Can I watch you two duke it out? This'll be interesting...
WILDCAT was Lucille Ball's flop starring vehicle in 1960 with a score by Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh and directed and choreographed by Michael Kidd. Although it was done in stock a couple of times with stars like Martha Raye and Ginger Rogers, it only had one other major production.....in AUSTRALIA!! The director was Milton Lyon, an American academic who had seen the Martha Raye production and decided that "our production will not be played for laughs". Well, when you've got a show that was tailored for Lucille Ball, there ain't much more to play. The production (which was critically mauled) had the distinction of rehearsing for ten weeks and running for six.
But I LOVED it!
The lyrics are something I guess you get used to. But I honestly do enjoy the music to The Civil War, particularly the songs "Virginia" "The Day the Sun Stood Still" and "BTS/Sons of Dixie"
And yes Emcee, you get a front row seat because you asked first. Although I think he might back down to the challenge seeing as I'm so scary and all.
You're scarier than me... because, you know, that says a lot.
Bythesword, I am a big fan of the icon.
My musical, although its probably very hard for all of you to tell, is actually taken from the off-broadway musical Little Fish.

Emcee- I wish I could be as scary as you, you're scarier than me by far...
LF- If you said you didn't like my icon, I'd beat you over the head with a Urinetown CD or something
BSOBW- The Civil War CD that I have is "the complete work" its 2 discs and it does have LaBelle and Glover on it.
Dotmarie- thank you! It makes me so happy when people like this icon.
Maybe it's the weilding of inanimate objects, bts.
Would you rather it be a living person?
I'll through bwaysinger at you. Don't make me use him.
See, now HE is scary.

Mine's obvious to most, but I'll explain it anyways. It refers to Princeton, a puppet on Avenue Q. *dances around*
