Hello all! I want to personally invite you all to join us today on "Broadway and More" the Internet Radio Talk Show devoted to All Things Broadway, where today we will be discussing: the villains or "negative/bad characters" in Broadway musicals. What motivated them? What made them the way that they are? Could they have been different or chosen a different path?
We'll be talking about characters like: Javert (Les Mis), the Phantom, Sweeney/Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), the Witch, wicked step mother and the Giant (Into the Woods), Dorothy Brock (42nd Street), Evilene (The Wiz), Amneris (Aida), Benny (Rent), Curtis (Dreamgirls), The Father (Footloose), Hyde (Jekyll & Hyde), Neville Craven (Secret Garden), Mrs. Mears (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Cousin Kevin (Tommy), Fosca (Passion).
