Wow, wish I had known about this when I had a cat.
CityKitty
I got a toilet training kit for my cat, but he thought he was doing it right if he just put his front paws on the toilet seat.
Needless to say, that was quite a bit messier than the litterbox.

Aww man - that's tempting. No more scooping!
My cats are pretty smart - I bet they could figure it out. But they are stubborn, so...they would probably look at me like "WTF?"

Patches has a hard enough time finding the treats IN MY HAND...I think this might be a bit beyond him.
I had a good friend who had potty trained her cat - and that was some 40 years ago! She didn't use any kind of kits either. Just patience. She used to joke that her cat drove her crazy because he never flushed.
buy a toilet with a motion sensor and you're set!

Two of mine could probably figure it out, but they're so used to the litterbox, I doubt they'd change now. The "twins" - no.
We're lucky if Aisling even makes the box. Her aim is atrocious. I keep contractor bags under the litterboxes with newspaper on top of that. (Sigh.)
I used to have 2 cats. Sure could have used this
somehow I really don't want to plop my butt down where the cat has sat. We have a rule....I don't use his litterbox, and he doesn't use the toilets
But he doesn't have to maintain your toilet.
