This is a classic comedy horror film from 1940 starring Bob Hope and Paulette Goddard (no Bing).

Paulette inherits a Cuban mansion that is believed to be haunted.

I remember seeing it many times growing up and always finding it to be smooky and very funny.

A very enjoyable diversion. And in glorious black and white!

I'm a HUGE Martin & Lewis fan--so I'm kinda partial to the remake which starred them--SCARED STIFF.

Actualy, THE GHOST BREAKERS was a remake as well! Its source was a 1922 silent comedy, THE GHOST BREAKER (title singular).

I'm not exactly certain, guys, but I believe Jose' made a slight typo and meant "SPOOKY"...
