yeah, i can see the huge black storm cloud and lightening right now over my bldg. in midtown ....the sky is 1/2 blue/gray - half black..Yikes. although those weatherman love to exaggerate....

I'm sure there will be a watch/warning in central Jersey soon. So far not even any rain. We get tornado warnings/watches several times a year. Just about a year ago one tore through here and did a lot of damage.

There was one here in north Jersey, but it passed, and they took the watch down as well. I'm glad because they scare me and of course this is the weekend I'm all alone.

They always say there is a "tornado" watch for NJ/NYC and all that ever occurs is a heavy thunderstorm.

Haven't there been a few this year? That's not common is it?

here in Denver we get them al the time. The sirens in my neighborhood went off a lot this year. But we never get them her in town. I think the last one was like 21 years ago or more.
