"who died and made you drama queen for the day?"

If you must know, it was the Maharincess of Franistan.

Videodrome? Although, I guess that had to do with cable and VCR's more than videogames... But it was still CREEPY!!!!!!!!!! re: Trying to figure out a movie title

Namo: I must tell you, I love you forever for using "The Maharincess of Franistan" in a post. (I'm a HUGE Lucy fan!)

I remember that any video game based on a horror movie automatically sucked. Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.

As did the "Wizard of Oz" game for Nintendo. The music alone was enough to drive you crazy: the same barely polyphonic versions of "Over the Rainbow" and "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" alternating every other screen. And Dorothy was a bitch to control.

"And Dorothy was a bitch to control."

Same for "Golden Girls, the Game"

Blanche, however, was easy.

I could never get past that last level, where Stan built that giant robot to destroy Miami! Even when I had 99 power cheesecakes in my inventory, he always beat me.

I could never get past the Shady Pines level...my hotplate never caught fire!

Friday the 13th the NES game SUCKED. It was highly unimaginative. And what about E.T. for Atari!

I'm liking the sound of the Golden Girls game. How about the level where you have to avoid Rose before she bores you with a St. Olaf story!

Oh I had the ET game for Atari...it was bizarre.

It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Nightmares was given as an answer, a whole page ago. I've always loved the Terror in Topanga segment from that film.
