Let's say you were granted two wishes.

One had to be an UNSELFISH wish that would benefit mankind.

One had to be a SELFISH wish that would benefit you.


My wishes:

UNSELFISH - The everyone looking for a job right now would fine one.


SELFISH - That I looked more like Tom Cruise and less like Rick Moranis.


What would you wish for?


By the way, you CAN'T wish for MORE wishes! :)

This is a really interesting thread!!

UNSELFISH- that all fighting, no matter how big or small, would stop.

SELFISH- that I have tons of money to go see shows with!

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

Unselfish - World Peace
Selfish - To have enough $$ to be able to affor to live in a 2 bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side (mid 70's would be nice with a view of the Park)

unselfish: world peace (without sounding like a beauty pageant contestant), but wouldn't it be nice to experience at least one day throughout the world where there is no violence.

selfish: that I somehow come up with the money to purchase a beautiful home (that I already have picked out).

Unselfish- Banish the Weisslers to a small island, say one of the Aleutians.

UNSELFISH: I second M_E -- that everyone who's looking for a job finds one. The job market is so bad right now and it just sucks to be out of work (I know, I was out of work for a year)

SELFISH: Hmm... that the man of my dreams (yes he does exist, he's not just a figment of my imagination, and he's not denzel washington either lol) finally gets his sh!t together.

Unselfish: Access to healthcare for everyone regardless of income. Selfish: To get the surgery that I need to save my life. The surgeon has turned me down.

Unselfish: That people would be more open minded (especially in Texas) about pretty much everything

Selfish: To be able to afford a decent appartment in NYC and have the voice/charisma to succeed on Broadway

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason
