Have any of you experienced when replying to a thread, there are missed letters when you type? This is the only place that it happens for me, so I can't blame on it being a lousy typist. I always try to proofread what I write, but now more than ever.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I thought it was just me! I also notice double words, especially the word, "the". I'm pretty anal about checking spelling, etc. but after I hit "Post Message" I nearly always find something odd has happened.

Thanks, I thought it was just me. It's almost like every third word, I miss a letter. Have to go back and retype it. In this reply, I missed the h in Thanks and the l in almost. And I know I typed those letters.

This site is a processor and memory taxing behemoth. It's got many, many lines of HTML and Javascript, both old and new, that can be difficult for a modern web browser to cope with. Especially in Internet Explorer 8+, where BWW is likely sending it even more, even older code to deal with.

The only way to improve you're experience is to try a different web browser until you can find the strongest possible experience for you. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera are popular alternatives.

YES! In the last few weeks it's been terrible. When I use another browswer (instead of explorer) it is much better.

I also have a problem with BW freezing up if it sits idle too long. Which is also greatly reduced if I switch to Safari (which I hate)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
