U2 Rent OBC mp3 file---

On http://adampascal.org/media.php There is an Mp3 with the OBC of Rent singing 'I Still Haven't Found Waht I'm Looking For'... I was wondering where and when that happened, as well as if you could help me figure out who is singing what. I can pick out Adam's oice but I cant really figure out which cast members sing what portions of the song. Maybe if you have a spare moment you will listen to it and help me?

WOW that was awesome, I wonder when the clip is from!? Anyway, with the loud audience, it IS hard to distinguish the voices...But, I would guess the first male voice is Adam ,and then it sounded like Idina? I could be wrong..All I know for sure is that is was definerely Daphne who said "just don't drink and drive!" =)

Yea I can tell when it's Adam... I can tell when Daphne is talking but not singing... I was guessing that the first female voice was Idina but it might have been Daphne or an ensemble gal. Then I really dont know who the second guy was. It's bothering me that I'm not sure who to give credit to... But I guess I will live

And yea, 'With or Without You' would be increadible!

WOW, is Adam ever singing Mandy up a wall in that "Suddenly Seymour." Man, she's got a weak voice. Love him in it, though.

The clip is from a BC/EFA event -- if I remember correctly, the RENT OBC performed the song in a "Gypsy Of The Year" competition in 1996.

That is not the OBC at all. It's from a cast Cutting Room gig last year. The first male voice is Cary Shields. And the woman that is talking first is either Karmine Alers or Maggie Benjamin. Matt Caplan has a solo towards the end.

It really sounds like Pascal and Rubin-Vega in some parts of it, but I won't ask for help and then turn it away... It would be nice if you had some reasoning behind the assumption though

I have had that song for about a year now. I know the girl that recorded it and remember when she recorded it. Cary does sound very similar to Adam at times, but if you listen closely before Cary starts to sing, you can hear someone scream "Yeah, Cary!" or something like that. I remember reading reviews of that gig and how awesome that song was

WOW. Am I giving TMI if I tell you that listening to my favorite OBC singing my favorite U2 song just made me a little moist? (To quite Jack McFarlane.)

Edit: Mandy Moore...ouch. She just couldn't hold those notes.

blair, you're totally right. It's def. Cary Shields.

He has a distinguishable nasal voice and I recognize it.
