UMD anyone?

Which branch are you at? College Park? Eastern Shore?

o_kheem.... how do you like college park? i'm thinking of applying there...

it's actually a great school. and since this iS broadwayworld.com... their theatre training is (of course not like all those big name schools ppL use their abrreviations for all the time .. like.... CM OCC ODIH DD DHFIHDSF or whatever... i'm not educated and cool yet... =( ..).. oh yeah.. their theatre is great here.. they just did jane eyre the musical.. whooo what talent! their performing arts are amazzzing.. and the building for it is ammmmazing.. super resources here.. definitely a great school for those who aren't set on a conservatory.. still feeling out where they belong.. if they really are going to "go for it".. and if they decide not to.. still HAVE that opportunity at a school that is well known and respected and is getting harder and harder to get into everyday... (get your GPA up peoples... average incoming freshman GPA is 3.9 or so).. so if you decide to take up that opportunity to get into a bigger name school.. and perform well here.. i don't think you'll be off on the bad foot. ya know? i mean.. i'm still a freshman here... but i hope i'm pretty accurate? and hope i helped.

aw c'mon atrias... i betchu could do it.. you'll have to do okay on your SATs... co'z that's a big factor.. i know i had the grades but not the SAT score. but i'm doin'.. alright. haha.. what other schools are you looking into?

Half my graduating class goes there. Either CP or BC. But none are theater fans, so I wouldn't know how to help you.

My school (Syracuse) has this group called "First Year Players." It's for freshmen and non-theater students to be able to be in a show. They put on a show every semester. I think UVA has a group like this too.
