Actually, I find this brilliant! Funny how people will react to anything blatantly sexual. I find this piece funny! Not to mention pretty impressive. I am sure he has gotten the response he was aiming for.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!

"What a horrendous artist. I hope that he never ever finds work again."

Actually, this incident will assure that he will not only find work again, but that he will be acclaimed and sought after more than ever. The elites in whatever art form like nothing more than those who stick it to all those lowly bourgeois types whom they hold in such contempt.

Just look at the sort of things that win critics' awards and Pulitzer prizes.

You're probably right, After Eight, but it still makes me sad/angry that people have to look at such offensive and ugly "art". And yes, lots of plays that win awards nowadays are horrible. Did you ever see The Flick on stage? I tried to read the script and it was one of the most pretentious things I have ever read. People need to realize that they are not as good as they think they are and that theatre should be entertaining to an audience, not just to snobs, and the same goes for art.

Yes, indeed, I did see The Flick----- unfortunately! If you think it was horrible to read, just imagine the torture it was to sit though it.

Naturally, it won the Pulitzer Prize.

See what I mean?

What the theatre should be, and what the snobs want it to be are two diametrically opposite things.

And the same is true for art, architecture, music, etc, etc...

My goodness. I looked up some of his other work, and if you truly want to be revolted, look at his "Life Cast TG Awake" sculpture. The female nude can be a thing of great beauty as painters like Botticelli, Lefebvre, and Giampietrino have proven, but this artist has chosen to create truly the ugliest sculpture based on the form imaginable. To the vandals that tore down that "sculpture", they should be saluted.

I truly don't. In fact, I actively try to avoid being revolted to the greatest degree possible in this crude, crass world of ours. And that sure isn't easy.

So I'll just take your word for it.
