So I usually hate these "I'm looking for songs" threads, but I'm really coming up short on upbeat baritone songs. I have massive amounts of ballads, but hardly any upbeat tunes. Any suggestions would be amazing, as well as obscure or unknown songs. I'm looking for anything, so they don't have to be contemporary at all, earlier would even be better.

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.

My range is from A2-G4 comfortably.

"Lady in the Dark", same show that gave us the fabulous Saga of Jenny...Weill/Gershwin.
It's a tongue-twister, though...hope you've got good diction :)

Thankfully, I became a diction whore over the summer as my diction professor decided to tear each of us a new one every class.

It Took Me A While from John and Jen sits quite nicely and is at an upbeat tempo...
Being Alive from Company is good as well...
Where Was I When they Passed Out Luck from Minnie's Boys is another favorite...

Is "It Took Me a While" really uptempo? I seemed to be torn with songs like that. "And They're Off" from "A New Brain" as well. Sort of upbeat, sort of ballady. Really annoying situation.
