I just walked up to the polling center and stared wistfully. I did pick up some kerry stickers though. On the bright side, the lines are huge! I'm very excited, but very scared. I don't want to imagine a second term.

Ashley Simpson was at our polling place with camera crew following. People were hissing her. She is a republican. My partner said loudly that he loved her on SNL. We didn't see it but we were told she gave us the finger. ( she is a Bush lover. so we don't like her anyway)

I agree with Glebb. Bush just not sound like he REALLY WANTS to win. I think he would just as soon head on back to the ranch than to the oval office.

Polls here in Chicago aren't too crazy. It's a pretty Democratic state and Obama is a shoe in.

Anybody see Ashton Kutcher talking about how Bush "punk'd" America? He voted for Bush the first time, but not this time.

Anyway, as I've seen them say to the youngins on TV,"Nag the vote" if you can't vote yourself. I myself nagged mom for a change in the man sitting in the oval office. Mom didn't listen to me though.
If only you could know the things I long to say... if only I could tell you what I'm dieing to convey...

Ashlee Simpson's father is a Baptist minister. It's pretty unlikely that someone as obviously under her father's thumb as she is would be able to make her own decision on something like this at her age. Clever of you to mock her, though. That will show her. Why wouldn't she want to join the Democrats who make fun of her when she's out voting, like so many others her age won't bother to do?

I voted. And volunteered.

Every year I volunteer to help people with disabilities get to the polling place and exercise their right to vote. My nephew is handicapped, and it's an issue that is near and dear to my heart!

Now, I am off to the Comedy Central party. I'm sure we'll be playing into the wee hours... Cheers!

And it makes you the better person for mocking her? Go in and vote and get out. Let her make a fool of herself. What kind of example was that to set for her - she's the youth of our nation as much as any other - a human being - an American. We preach tolerance on this board, especially when it comes to politics, so why don't we practice same?
