WHY am I still single!? Better yet, WHY won't "my guy" get the freaking hint already!? Sorry, I get slightly bitter around Valentine's Day.

I'll probably be at the bar... hopefully the guy who's madly in love with me won't come in... because he's my exboyfriends brother. *sigh* the makings for disaster right there.

Not that I'm not a bitter bitch all year round, because I am, but I don't like Valentine's Day much. Reminds me, like every other day of the year, that I'm single. Oh well, I think something might happen before the 14th. If not, then I'll sit at home and cry while listening to Elton John, cuddling my blankie... "What can I do, to make you love me." And so on and so forth. Haha! I'll probably spend the night at a friend's house. Good times!

I will be waiting for the next day when Barnes and Noble tosses all of its displays and Valentines tchotke.

Jarico and I will watch a movie together in our respective countries and videoconference our gift exchange. It's difficult, but it works.

That night, I think I will go to my friend's "Introverted Self-Loathing Day Party". The invitation reads: "Please join us this Valentine's Day as we mourn lost love, listen to Morrisey, and recite the most miserable works of Emily Dickinson." Though I won't be in mourning exactly, I'll be supporting my friends.

My partner and I are seeing "Light in the Piazza" at the Goodman that afternoon, then probably having dinner somewhere nice.

Afterwards, a quick change of costume, and then over to "The Cellblock" for a leatherman contest.

My show of HAIR opens in 3 weeks and we still have tons to do, so on Valentines day im going to be rehearsing from 11:30am until 10:30pm. So I won't be doing much with my boyfriend which is kind of upsetting. He wanted to take me out to a movie and supper and all that stuff, but now we can't do anything. I guess thats the sacrifices of being a performer right? Anywho Im going to just suggest that him and I do something on Sunday on my 2 hour break from rehearsal. :S
