i have a friend visiting nyc for thanksgiving and was wondering what veg/vegan restraunts might be open...cost is not a factor

I believe there's a place in the east village called something like Quintessence. I think it's also raw...or mostly raw.

Try Zen Palate!!!! One at Union Square and one somewhere between 46 and 49 on 9th Ave.

YES, Zen Palate is the best! It's actually on 47th and Broadway I think, but look it up just in case!

listings of restaurants open on Thanksgiving, some veg.


And most places serving Thanksgiving dinner will have a veg plate and or be very accomodating to vegetarians.

Cost may not be a factor, but, there is something to be said to sybaritism, even once a year.
