Veterans Day is observed and celebrated each year on November 11 to honor American veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.  Throughout the year, "Honor Fights" from around the country fly veterans (at no cost to them) to Washington, D.C., for a three-day visit.  This is a newscast from here in San Diego of veterans returning from a recent Honor Flight.
