Amy Adams is the only one I'm liking in the final 32. (She's the one with the pink hair.) She's the only one who's voice I like and who has a great personality to match... not stuck up, but confident and seems very sweet... plus has a great style going on... very individual. She's my top pick at the moment. We'll see if anyone else wows me. I think she'll make it at the very least to the Top Ten, though.

I was really disappointed by some cuts tonight, though. Some people got through that I thought sucked.


I'm SO sick of Randy and his constant need to diss theatre singers. That bull**** he fed Scooter Girl tonight was unreal. They were really unfair to her... they first told her she was too kooky, she tones it down, and then she's too boring...? They just weren't very clear with what they wanted and personally, I think that SUCKS. Don't tell someone to change their personality... her fun, kooky personality is what gives her PRESENCE, which is mainly what mostly all the contestants are lacking. Guess she wasn't 'cool enough' for the popular genre of music. Oh, well... their loss. Theatre is always ready to welcome more kooky personalities... guess we theatre people are just more fun (and more talented, despite what Randy may think or imply). :)

Scooter girl totally didn't have it but your right pink girl does. I really like the kid with red hair who sounds like Sinatra.

I'm sick of Randy's theatre thing too. Scooter girl had a beautiful voice, and I was really sad she didn't make it.

Some of the choices I was horrified with. The young red haired guy...he has forgotten his words at almost every performance. I sympathize with him about that, but I heard him really sing, and after that, I think I prefer him forgetting the words.

I'm so sad Scooter Girl was cut. She had a fun personality, and maybe though she wasn't the best, I personally thought she was much better than some who made it. Oh, well...there were a couple of other interesting personalities. Hopefully they'll come out more. Some of the people I saw in the rooms that made it didn't seem great...maybe it's just what they showed, though. It will be an interesting show.

Oh, and the anti-Theater thing is so disconnected from the way the audience evaluates talent. And voices. Please, what kind of voice does Clay Aiken have? (Simon's biggest dis last season was the broadway label.) If that ain't a theater voice, then what is?! He's not exactly Justin T. And wouldn't Kelly Clarkson leap at Amneris if she had a shot at it? Plus, pop voices and theater voices have always overlapped. 5 years ago, everyone wanted Paula Abduhl to do SWEET CHARITY. And Toni Braxton and 3 thousand members of Destiny's hooha are in Aida. It's all bogus, this pop vs. b'way voice BS.

You have to remember that we have yet to hear a great many of the finalists. I can't wait to hear the butch girl in the tank top. She doesn't seem to fit the "Idol Image" in the looks department so she must have a really great voice. I'll bet they intentionally did not show her singing so she can blow us away when we finally hear her.

I thought the red-headed kid was sweet, just a bit too young and out of his league. I am very surprised he made it through.

Did the girl who dissed Simon last night make it to the finals?

I thought ScooterGirl sang quite well--yes, she needs to "pop" up her voice. I think it was a mistake to cut her. She should pursue musical theatre.

I think Matt Rogers is soooooooo cute! I'm so glad he made it. =)

That is the biggest mystery to me! Where is she, why haven't we heard a peep? I hope there's something good behind it, otherwise there will be some serious foul cried, I imagine.

I heard butch girl sing last week when she made it to Hollywood. She sang an Alanis Morrisette song She kicks ass. Simon told her that he thinks shes one very confused girl. Then he had her sing "at last" and she kicked butt at that too. lol

I wish they would have taken more time covering the 4 day audition. I didn't even catch that the rude girl was cut. They never showed hot lesbian girl's* trio after making such a big deal out of their rehearsal woes. But, we'll get to see all of the rest perform now!


*hot lesbian girls that look like gay men really confuse me lol

Yes jrb_actor I agree... they spent so much time on things then never followed up.. like Briana (the "butch girl") on tues. night they show her complaining about her group, but never showed us what happened they didnt even mention it again.... and the attitude girl, did she get cut? had no clue since they failed to show us that.... they have shown us more of the bad stuff then the good, we have not even seen half the final 32 even sing a note yet!

I am glad Briana made it though, she has a very nice voice, and is different then anyone they have ever had before!
