""Rock and Roll" because they couldn't get the rights to the song.".

Source, please.

It doesn't need one. They obviously would have used the Led Zepplin opener if they could have. Though they probably would have re-recorded it.

Idk how much other people share this opinion, but I enjoyed the Alice Cooper subplot. Though his story will turn in a few years to the hoary "the road sure done me good this time" drugs and booze cliche, Vince/Coop carries himself with a joie de vivre that the grim, self serious characters in the series lack.

I would be glad to follow Coop into his world of whiskey and muppets, Dali and Groucho Marx.

I liked that too, but why does he get to be in the story but Stiv Bators does not?

These are the decisions I am not understanding.

You want to know a fun fact? Our dear old friend the late, great IfilitIfloat was a relative of one of the members of the Alice Cooper band.

I just started watch this show and while I do not think it is as good as Mad Men, it reminds me of it.

With the sets and clothes and 1970 instead of 1960 years. Also, Richie and Dev are like Don and Betty, Jamie is Peggy, CC is Joan and Julie is Pete.

I've been watching this regularly and although I don't love it, I watch because of Bobby Cannavale. Wow. Especially in last night's episode in the police precinct. An actor's actor.

I am a few episodes behind. I just finished the one with the Chelsea Hotel. I am with you. I don't love it. But I can't stop watching it. Especially because of him.

And who knew? I mean, I liked him in the one film I saw him in way back, The Station Agent, but that was a light and silly role. I didn't know the depth of his talent until now.

Just found out that Lena Olin is Jamie Mother! She is aging very gracefully.

This is a case of separating the person from their art. Canaveral was on Jimmy Fallon last night and he was less than personality plus. Oh well, you can't have everything!

Jane; You should check out his episodes on Boardwalk Empire. The depth of his talent is on display.

Dame, I watched Boardwalk Empire but don't remember him. Was he in the last season? I think I skipped that.

WOW. I have never been so mesmerized and transfixed on an actor's every second on the screen. It's ridiculous how good he is.

Besides that, I just loved how the disco started in that club!

I have all of these recorded, but didn't watch at all. What's an estimate on total JCM screen time?

Well, that didn't up-queue it much. Vinyl, it's not TV it's HBO Thanks!

The whole series is worth it for Cannavale. I'm going to miss it. Boy, was he sexy as Finestra. he was on one of those talk shows recently, as himself, and nowhere near as sexy.

I hated the show, but I think it was a victim of being renewed too early (at episode two). Then HBO realized ratings were tumbling, the issues with the showrunner leaving, the huge price of the show and I guess just decided to cut their losses.
