chaque on est son gout. to each his own. tara reid holds no more fascination for me than the idiotic sorority girls i knew in college (you know--they were "christian" until they got 2 beers in them and then it was the mating call of the blonde,"ooohh! i'm SO DRUNK!") but some people are inexplicably drawn to tara reid --not nearly the fabulous train wreck that is mary kate olsen -- who i imagine actually has something to say -- i imagine her ennui and intermittant spewings of bilious hatred toward her twin and her parents and long langorous drags off her vantages. i would love her.
i don't understand people's fascination with say, janine lamanna, but to them she is a "real" celebrity--someone they've seen in the spotlight and imagine they can touch. but i take issue with the phrase "real celebrities" because i know voiceanth is savvy enough to know that no celebrities are really "real". like my own personal mary kate olsen--they just inhabit our imaginations and tell us what our dreams are.
