Vote for my Animal Shelter

Okay, nobody has to at all, but I'm just passing this along for those who would be kind enough to do so.

Petfinder.com has a little contest going on their website. They are donating $5000 to the top 2 shelters with the most votes. So far, mine is doing pretty bad, but I only found out about this a few minutes ago. So, all you need to do is click on the link, and vote for my shelter. If you do, you will just be helping us to get the money so we can do more for the shelter and the animals. Believe me, we rely heavily on donations and volunteers. Nobody gets paid at all for the work we do. We just do it because we have a passion for the animals. Well, at least that's why I started volunteering there.

When you go to this page, scroll down to the 3rd thing that says Get Involved-Help Your Favorite Shelter. Click on the vote here link and it will take you to a small window where you can choose the state, town, and shelter, and click on vote. I haven't figured out the town thing yet because it might be different on the website than what I know, but if you look under New Jersey, and find BARKS, that is my shelter. And thank you in advance for those of you willing to help. It looks like voting is open until the end of the month. And actually, it seems like we can win if we get a flood of votes in. And it also seems as if you can only vote once a day. So please, don't think of this as something for me, but for the animals. I definitely do not get anything out of the deal.

Of all the things that people post on here as one of those, "Please vote for me!!!" things, this one is probably the most deserving and kindhearted.

I voted too !!! Even though I'm so far away, anything that can help animals AND make a nice BWW member happy, makes me happy, too !

Thanks everyone! Yeah, it seems as though you can only vote once a day. I tried to do it twice, and it wouldn't let me. Actually, I told my mom to vote too, but it wouldn't let her because it said she already did, but I did it on my computer. So, we don't know what's being picked up on the site and why it would do that.
