Oh, wait, that's easy- it's d. Because statue 2 is an athlete, and in order for the two men to be next to each other it must be FMMF, meaning statue 2 is a female athlete. Done.

Okay, number 4:

Since statue 2 is an athlete, the other athlete must be at 1 or 3. Since one athlete must glow and the glow must be at 1 or 4, the other athlete is at 1. In addition, since 2 is male 1 must be female. Let's see what that gets us:

A. Done.

The answer to 5 is e. Statue 2 must be a male in order to 3 to be female. It still leaves the possibility of 1 or 4 glowing in the dark, since either could be the other athlete.

Okay, last one! If the male inventor is to the left of something, it must be 1 or 3 since 2 is an athlete. That eliminates the FMFM configuration. That means e must be true.

Well...I laid out my logic in the posts. That's how I'd do them as fast as possible- just use that thinking. In either problem it helps to diagram what was said just to make things simpler so you don't have to store it all in your head- like I said with the fish table. I did something similar with the statues. And, uh...that's it.

Okay, I'm weird. I think it's a matter of practice more than anything else. And I'm sure you studied a ton, so go to sleep, eat a good breakfast tomorrow, and good luck!

at a certain point, sleep is going to help way more than whatever studying you can do. I'd say unplug the internet, have a good sleep, eat a big breakfast, and review the important stuff before the test.

Hmm okay. See, it's the diagrams that are giving me the most trouble. Just knowing how to graph it quickly and properly.

Anyway, thanks for the help! I'm goanna print our your explanations and go through it. Lord, I'm glad logical reasoning and reading comp are good with me cuz these problems are HOPELESS!
