Word has it that Sprint is getting flooded with negative feedback about their domestic partnership offering, as the right wing is so good at doing. If you have a spare moment, could you make a phone call or send an email to Sprint, thanking them for offering domestic partnership benefits? I don't think it matters whether you are a customer or not - you can just say that you were pleased to hear it and would consider using them as your cell phone provider.

Call 888-211-4727 or go to
http://www.sprint.com/contact/?refurl=uhp_manage_contact and click on the details tab under personal/residential accounts and then on "email us."

I read with interest that your company is now offering domestic partner benefits. I applaud your move and encourage more companies to do the same. It is forward thinking companies as yours that give we hope that one day soon that all gay and lesbian Americans can enjoy many of the same rights and benfits the I as a gay Canadian can enjoy. In Canada we have moved faster and further than the United States on many of these same issues. I am sorry I can not reward you by moving my cell phone service to your company but it does make me look favourably on your sister company, Sprint here in Canada, as a provider of Long distance Local and internet service. Sometimes doing the right thing brings a backlash from opposing groups but I encourage you to know that you actions are appreciated and are recognized from around the world.
