Stringfellows in the UK, the Unicorn back home. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Saw the wonderful Michael Crawford in The Woman in White again tonight, which was wonderful as the last time, Wednesday!
And I needed to see the original Phantom of the Opera, as I was nearly stricken after sitting thru the movie this afternoon..UGH!
Talk about "the point of no return"..!

beacon, I hate to break it to ya, but Misters Varley and Diamond did not like the movie, and neither did popcultureboy. We already talked about it when they stopped by to say au revoir this afternoon on their way to dinner, having just seen the aforementioned movie. It's H O R R I B L E. Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson were apparently having a competition to see who could make the least amount of facial expression, Gerard Butler is a joke, can't sing AT ALL and as Eddie pointed out, sounds like the cookie monster. It's ruinously bad. Shame.

*sobs on popcultureboy's shoulder*
But...but...it's PATRICK WILSON...And he is perfect. Perfect.
*sobs harder*
Patrick did say in a post-POTO interview that after doing the movie he saw Moulin Rouge and saw how people exaggerated their mouths when singing in that film. He realized he hadn't done that. He just sang like he normally would and now wondered if folks would think that he wasn't doing his own singing in POTO.

And how am all youse BWW beauties doing?
The trip was AMAZING.....
beacon, PW is actually quite the man, and I did like his Raoul much more than the film Erik...so much potential, the movie is stunning to look at but...*weeps*
Welcome Home, Mr. Varley!
It kills me to hear about Phantom, but I must say I'm not surprised. Still...I will go see it over the holidays. Morbid curiosity, I suppose...
Morning Eddie. Glad to see that you're home safe and sound.

:: Gives Boobs a GIANT hug and a kiss ::
Me too, BG2! I just bought the 20th Anniversary Edition DVD!! It's tradition to watch the film 50 times before Christmas!!
Matthew...not only did you just make my day, but that kiss made my whole year !!! You sure do know how to make Boobs sing and dance...among other things.
Ah, the thrill of having the gang back together, I missed you all, ok, I thought of you all, ok, I didn't WANT TO COME HOME!
Nah, it was a wonderful trip, perfect.
The West End is magic, I loved The Woman In White, the music is running thru my head..."A Gift for Living Well"....ahhhh.
Eddie...did you get the chance to see Mary Poppins???
I did see Mary Poppins, Bboobs, it was fun, saw the understudy Mary, who had only done the role twice before, so it was a "tad" off, but great fun for the kids who were having a grand time, which in the end is what's it's all about.
The children starring as the sister and brother were simply amazing, great performances.
Bumping up my boy! Glad to hear that you had a merry old time in London.
SOMMS..I think he had a Gay Ole time too.
hey SOMMS!
The McArdle's missed you, and Sean Cassidy has some new pictures you'll need to see at the website he's on....RUN!
But, regarding London, it was bliss, truly the best time I've had in years. Every moment was perfect, and I'm now a huge fan of The Woman In White, it was wonderful!
Well Eddie, I hated to miss the McArdles, but a boy doesn't get four days at the Ritz Carlton in Naples for free very often. I love having a bit of a tan just before the holidays. My winter white holiday turtlneck sweater just looks so much better.
White holiday turtleneck + Naples tan = SOMMS, the hottest man under the tree!
Bravo, glad you had an amazing trippy!
