Just curious as to why no one mentioned the passing of actress Eleanor Parker ("The Baroness" in "The Sound of Music") and "The Man with the Golden Arm"?...

I think you're a bit late to the party. There were at least two threads on her passing.

THERE ARE MULTIPLE THREADS ABOUT THIS. WHY DO YOU TYPE WITH THE CAPS LOCK ON IN YOUR THREAD TITLES?
Who is Eleanor Parker and why are they saying those terrible things about her?
The Beatles wrote a song about her, I think.

She kept her head in a bag by the car.
Didn't go far.
OMG I'M THE ONLY ONE ON THE INTERNET WHO HAS THOUGHT OF THIS!!!
Oh, wait.
Her brothers put out great games. I hear they're releasing a The Sound of Music monopoly board game.

And then she posed.

That was Faye Dunaway's only really well acted role. When she gets all those bullet holes shot in her, I really believed Faye was shot. I almost forgave her for all the crime she committed.
