I saw Rent on opening night and I liked his presence and singing.
When I saw him in a silent role in the musical of Laura Nyro's works, Eli’s Comin’, at the Vineyard I got to see what a fine dancer he is, spring/summer of 2001. Bruce Buschel and Diane Paulus made a brilliant play of Nyro's songs.
Mr. Heredia physically portrayed a male seducer and the embodiment of heroin with a sexual presence and menace that added so much to the piece. He has such a great singing voice that it was interesting to see him take a role in which he didn't use it, except in a reprise of a group number after the curtain bows.

Posted: 1/1/06 at 2:04pmBIG fan. Angel is my fav. character in RENT and I loved his portrayal of Angel just listening to the OBC recording and then when I actually saw him in the movie, I loved Angel even more. If anyone knows an address to send a fan letter to, pass it my way please.
