I got the point, Papa. I disagree with it. It's just a vast right-wing conspiracy and smear tactics of the conservative press to make him look bad. Kerry is brilliant on the stump, really connects with people, is the kind of guy you want to have a kir royale, I mean BEER, with.

No lockbox there. (And he voted for that, after he voted against it, as you know.)

Stop worrying about what I'm doing -- focus instead on what you're eating.

I was there to see the last performance of Sly Fox and didn't experience any inconvenience at all. Took the 1 train to 50th street and arrived around 2. Aside from the extra police presence, the area seemed far less crowded that it normally would for a Sunday afternoon. I wandered around a bit. Saw lots of mounted police and motercycle riding police stationed at the Minskoff.

Got out of the Barrymore theatre at 5:15, after the RNC shows had started. There were protestors marching around a bit but again Times Square seemed no more crowded that it normally would at that hour. Less crowded, in fact. Took the 1 train at 50th Street back to the Upper West Side.
