I actually thought Wahlberg (plus Alec Baldwin and Martin Sheen) was the best part in the incredibly overrated The Departed.

I stopped taking Shyamalan seriously when 'the twist' was revealed about the aliens in Signs. It was actually pretty good up until that part.

I admit (gulp) that I have enjoyed all of Shyamalan's films.

EXCEPT The Happening. HORRID.

Ms. Buckley is indeed campilicious in it. At that point, to quote Ms. Bernhard, "Why not?"

When she freaks out on Wahlberg when he discovers the life-sized doll girl in the bedroom (WHA???), I was praying she'd bust out a little 'And Eve Was Weak.' Just for sh!ts and giggles.

And that VILLAGE movie? Adrian Brodie should have to give back that Oscar. And the Halle Berry kiss.

So which is worse, this or DREAMCATCHER? I'm still waiting for William Goldman to write a book about it, "Adventures in the Sh*t Weasel Trade".

"Lemon drink" or "Come on, Scooby Doo..."

Decisions...

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Yeah, DREAMCATCHER was pretty awful.....but then there was Thomas Jane to divert me from the terrible script!

Speaking of awful.....LEGION.....Oh, gawd! What a trainwreck!

I'd say Happening was much worse than Dreamcatcher. Atleast I had an affinity to the novel on which Dreamcatcher was adapted (though it's not one of King's best by a long shot).

I have no interest in Legion. I'll leave the gun-totin' angels to the Bible belt.

What No! (The Happening Remix Song)

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
