Oh - how cute! Pink is definitely her color. And I keep forgetting to tell you how much I love those pics of her eating your face. I can't tell which of you loves the other more! I guess it's just a tie.

Our little boy had to go to the hospital this morning, and as of now, we don't know if he's going to make it. Give Tanny an extra hug and kiss tonight.

Shira - it's Teddy - and no, he isn't doing very well. We just got back from transferring him to a 24-hour vet hospital. He seems to have contracted a high-grade infection (God knows where from.) He's been having seizures and his white-cell count is through the roof. He's on tranquilizers (to control the seizures) and antibiotics right now, and we'll wait to get a fuller lab report tomorrow.
Please keep the TinMan in your thoughts - this is a rough one. Teddy was brought into his life in the last months of his late partner's life as an attempt to have 'new life' around to help the healing process. He's been his companion ever since, so it's kind of like the last flame of his partner's life possibly being extinguished.
DG - I heard that your sweet Teddy has crossed the bridge. I know your heart is broken - though knowing that his pain is over has got to give you some little bit of solace. You're both in my heart and prayers at this very, very sad time.
Oh, Mamie - thank you! The name alone made me cry.
Yes, as many, many have dealt with, this is not the easiest times - especially when there are extenuating circumstances.
BUT, we know what he gave us - which we will always have in our hearts - and the gift he gave to my beautiful TinMan can never be overestimated. I'm not sure if my TinMan would have been alive for me to meet if it wasn't for him!
And - back to the star of the thread, our wonderful Tanny - who, if I'm not mistaken, has had quite the impact on our very own Glebby!
