Of course Tanny has had an impact on Glebby. How could she not? Our wonderful animal kids give us their unquestioning, uncritical love. This great love never ends - no matter what we do or say. I'm convinced they are responsible for saving the lives of MANY humans and they deserve nothing less than the same kind of love in return.
(Excuse me now. I have to go lay down on the floor with my old girl, Tootsy and give her a good brushing. She loves that!)

I got to have 'a little Tanny' this evening, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. A true lady in the making - open, inquisitive, friendly - and yes, breathtakingly beautiful.
And more importantly, she has chosen a true prince as her consort. Glebby is a giving, gentle, honorable and artistic man - who is dedicated to the craft of his art, and the art of living life.
One of the humbling pleasures of this board experience has been the exposure to those whom I wouldn't have had the pleasure of knowing otherwise. Meeting Glebb tonight (after a couple of years of board interaction) was sublime - the completion of a circle almost.
A toast to those of us who recognize and celebrate beauty, and continue to pursue our dreams.

It's funny you mention that, DG. I was saying the same thing yesterday to my sister. I would never have 'met' (really or cyberly) you or Glebb or Addy or Boobs or DD or one or two dozen other fascinating people I've gotten to know here. I love this site for that more than anything else!
(I just know you gave Glebb the hug for me that I asked!

Mamie - he very graciously kept finding us at the intervals, and every time I saw him I kept hugging him - I apologized (sort of ) and said it was because this long list of people asked to be remembered to him - and I specifically mentioned your name on the list!

DG, your warm and sparkling energy was like a tonic! It was a great pleasure meeting you both and I am honored that you came to meet Tanny and me. I can't thank you enough for coming to see my work and thank you for our time together before the performance.
I enjoyed ALL of the hugs and felt like you and I have known each all our lives.
