Oh, I don't know, bme...we probably would be doing our happy dance if the tables were turned.
But the repugnant thing is that the GOP won on non-issues that resonated with evangelical christians. THAT'S what I find disgusting.
On the demo side, I think Kerry's wife was a liability. As refreshing as I thought she was, your average American doesn't like outspoken women with a mind of their own. Sad truth.
