Wedding Crashers quick review

I saw it a few days ago. It's a frat classic just because it's about as good as frat movies get. It's raunchy without being too raunchy, which is a big plus for me (a frat movie that is a frat movie without being basically a porno is very hard to come by) and it is very fun. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are a great pair and they work off of eachother very well. Rachel McAdams is wonderful as usual, making every scene her own. It runs a bit long, though (I found myself quite bored and let down by the last 20 minutes...did we REALLY need to see Wilson's breakdown for that long?) and the ending is a bit cliched and predictable but all in all, its a fun movie and certainly the best comedy of the summer that I've seen. It starts off slow and ends slow but the midway point where it hits its peak is gutbusting, kneeslapping, riproaring, and extremley entertaining fun. I liked it very much.

I'm stuck between 3 and 3 and 1/2 stars...

Quite funny but it could have been more. There are various funny elements within it that weren't really fully exploited, like Christopher Walken.
