re: Welcome, Anthony Rapp! (part four)

Oops. Well, just posted this on part 3...

The sad thing, though, is it's understandable the way parents react. It's the way our society works. Most people watch the news, or read the paper, etc. What's on the news? Stories about people like us on BWW and how close we've all become? No. Stories of pedophiles and rapes and terrible things happening from meeting people internet. That's what they hear about. Only hearing about all these bad stories on the news and such makes out society an unfortunate very fearful one.

Fortunately, my mom knows all about BWW and knows of my good friends here and one of my friends even stayed over for a couple of days and she really liked her. Early on, my sister would tell me she called her panicking worried that I was meeting people, but is totally cool with it now. In fact, sometimes she's come to shows or concerts with me when I've seen a BWWer or 2 and I've introduced her to them.

BTW, hi Allie! I miss you!

Ah well. *twirls in new home*

Is BWW being a little moody for anyone else?
Literal tacos! Sheesh. Y'all are nasty....

Mandi, I <3 all of those pictures!

Yes Noah, BWW is hating me right now. It kind of froze for a second.

Grrr. Someone needs to fix the thing. If it's going to be 5000 max, it should lock at 5000, not 4988.

Just wondering, does anyone else think the thread title is a bit...outdated? He's been sufficiently welcomed for over a year. re: Welcome, Anthony Rapp! (part four)

And indeed a good year plus it's been. My first BWW thread and the one that brought me here re: Welcome, Anthony Rapp! (part four)

I just associate this thread with that title now. My name (my real name) is pretty outdated, too, but if I changed it, no one would know how to find me!

Hmmm... that doesn't sound so bad.

*is now Jeremy*

Someone make me stop watching General Hospital.

Literal tacos! Sheesh. Y'all are nasty....

I love the decorations! And I like that we are in a way still welcoming him...but I have nothing against it being changed if everyone really wants to change it.

He's pretty bendy.

Roadtrip! I have Roadtrip. I should watch that instead of watching everyone get cured by some miracle antidote on GH.

But they're only on GH Tuesday. *whimper* I'm going to start sounding like my gf's mom at this rate. "I need to watch my shows! Leave me ALONE!"

No, General Hospital was awesome in the Claire Labine days...Sonny & Brenda, Ned & Lois, Stone & Robin, Kevin & Lucy, BJ's death, Stone's AIDS, Monica's breast cancer, Quartermaine madness. Those were the days.

ETA: GREAT pic Mandi!
